My friend, the way I first met him in the fall of '70, at one of our shared venues, the Spot in Allegheny, NY. Check them out on You Tube, Elf (the first lp with Roger Glover and Ian Paice (both of Deep Purple) producing. They produced 3, before Elf joined Richie Blackmore (also of DP) ro form Rainbow. Ronnie still plays bass on that 1rst lp, with his cousin, David "Rock" Feinstein, on guitar. Ronnie sang then and he became worldwide famous for. Great gut, incredible singer.
