Fender Tweed Deluxe
Here's a late 50's Fender Tweed Deluxe that a friend of mine (Producer Paul Brown) lent me to check out. Recently serviced by the legendary Howard Dumble, it also has a handwritten "suggested settings" paper with Dumbles personal notes.

Damn, Howard D. himself! "This is now working properly"

I built my own 5E3, and I swear that thing has a mind of its own. Its had a bunch of mods for better cleans, my favorites being a NFB control and 100W speaker.

yeah he wants to trade me for my old vibrolux but I think I prefer my vibrolux. I have a tweed clone and it sounds great, I can get really close (honestly a little more versatility) and using a pedal really eliminates the need for yet ANOTHER vintage amp...i have too much to keep up now. haha

Kinda hard to read the notes, but very cool! I had a similar style amp - modern, but retro-build, and that was one thing I hated - you had to DIME one channel and dial in the other after jumpering the two, which is counterintuitive to how we dial is most amps these days.  It worked! Thanks for sharing this one Shane!
