Playing shekere w Olatunji

I'd never played any hand drums or shekere before I met Suru and Baba...just drum set. Baba could play a whole concert just singing and playing shekere. The 1st time I picked up a shekere, I could make it go. My body knew exactly what to do. My western mind had to step aside. Within a few months I was Baba's shekere player on traditional ceremonies like weddings, funerals, Kwanza etc. No electric instruments on those...just Baba's Shamanistic magic.
