The A room at 16 Ton Studios Nashville
This is an amazing, one of a kind, custom built analogue consoles. With vintage outboard gear not to be believed. And, a real plate reverb in the attic.
With help of a great 19yr old assistant, I mixed 4 of my original trax there...three of which are on my current release.
They are: "Just In Time", "Blue Sky" and "Just Let Go". I've gotten pretty good at mixing "in the box" but there's nothing like the depth and dimension you get mixing thru analogue consoles.
We even used the real plate reverb, which was a first for me. All thanks to Hurricane Sandy.
